Six days to go…and the messages of support keep on coming!
Yes, next Wednesday our very own Danny Watson will set off on his epic 30in30 challenge – running at least a marathon every day for 30 days!
Starting from Brighton he will run up the country to reach North East Lincolnshire and Grimsby on Thursday October 1, before running over the Humber Bridge and up to Hull the following day.
This ultimate challenge, the last of seven years of such feats for Danny, is to raise as much money as possible for our Full Families programmes. Running in Hull and Grimsby, with plans to expand them, these offer a unique blend of vital support for families reaching crisis – helping them to effect lasting personal change.
As Danny’s final preparations continue, the event’s sponsors are continuing to voice their support for his work and that of CatZero.
Here’s the message from Robert Brocklesby, the Managing Director of Adams & Green.
“Adams & Green have supported CatZero for several years now. The work they do to help young, disadvantaged young people from the area is incredible and we are proud to be associated with them. We wish Danny all the very best of luck as he embarks on this epic challenge, I have no doubt that he will absolutely smash this.”
Danny has a personal fund-raising target of £20,000 with all the money going to our Full Families Programmes. Help him hit his target but donating to his page: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/DannyWatson30in30
