| CatZero Cycle Challenge
Friday 27th May, 2016
Following the successful inaugural event in 2015, the CCC2016 will be held on 10th to 12th June 2016. This challenge will again follow the route of the Trans Pennine Trail from Albert Dock Liverpool to Hull Marina.
The aim of this sponsored event is for each cyclist to raise over £500 each towards young people’s programmes. Unlike most other long-distance cycle routes in the UK, the Trail is mostly off- road along canals, riversides and dis-used railway lines. It passes through many urban areas but also beautiful countryside, taking in picturesque villages, castles and abbeys along the way. Approximately 20 cyclists will set off on Friday lunchtime from Albert Dock, Liverpool. The Friday night will be spent in Stockport after a 50 mile cycle. Day 2 will take on the Pennines finishing in Doncaster after 70 miles. The Sunday will be the final 50 miles cycle back to Hull for a celebration event and hog roast.
Please support this year’s cycle challenge as generously as possible as we can assure you, all monies raised will be directed into the training and mentoring to transform the lives of young people in need..
