The Spectacular Fjords Challenge

The Fjords Challenge departs Hull Marina for a 10-day adventure voyage to Norway.  In both 2014 and 2015 the challenge was undertaken by a group of students from Hymers College, who departed Hull Marina to complete the trip of a lifetime, including a 1982 foot trek up Pulpit Rock for the views of a lifetime.

The Fjords trip combines a demanding sea voyage across 500 miles of the North Sea, followed by the chance to take in Norway's impressive coastline and Fjords, best viewed from the water, before sailing back to Hull.

This is an amazing experience, enabling crew members to sail up Norway's spectacular Fjords and discover beautiful places on this stretch of coast that is only accessible by boat.  There is also be the opportunity to build in additional adventure experiences during the stay in Norway such as treks, fishing etc.  The trip is bespoke to suit the requirements of those on board.

As well as the physical and mental challenge of crewing a Challenge 72 yacht in the North Sea, there is also the fund-raising challenge to make a minimum donation of £1,950 to take part.
