“Hi everyone, I’m Hannah from Wirral and I volunteer as sailing crew for CatZero.
I work in the Research and Development department for a global customer goods company called Unilever, but like to spend every other waking moment outdoors.
My passions are sailing, kayaking, horse riding and cycling. I have two horses on loan so when I’m not out on the water then you’ll find me mucking out stables or exploring the Wirral peninsula in a saddle.
I first volunteered for CatZero in 2019 on a residential sail and have since done the Dutch Dash and was part of the crew on the 2023 Round The Island race too, both of which were loads of fun and very rewarding!
I love what CatZero stands for and hope to be involved in many more sails in the future, both raising awareness for the charity and directly helping those in the programme.”
