We were delighted to welcome Hull West and Hessle MP Emma Hardy for a tour of our yacht – and she was full of praise for our innovate and alternative approach to supporting young people.
With a background in education and teaching, Emma is keen to find out more about regional organisations that work towards raising the aspirations and attainment of young people in the Humber region. Her visit to us played a part in that work.
Following a briefing on our decade of work, Emma toured the yacht with Danny Watson, Jim Dick and Dave Bertholini to hear about the transformational impact that sailing can have.
“I was genuinely extremely impressed by the approach that is being taken and the determination and drive of those behind the organisation. CatZero is having a positive impact on young people and families across the area,” said Emma.
