“Every pound is a real investment in someone’s life. Please help if you can.”
The words of Andrew Horncastle, the Chairman of Horncastle Group Plc, as both he and his team support Danny’s 30in30 challenge.
The company, under Andrew’s guidance, has been a long-term supporter of our charity and recognises the difference that we can make in effecting true and lasting personal change.
But, enough from us, let’s hear it from Andrew himself on why this support continues.
He says: “Here in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire we have some of the most deprived areas in the country. The region faces many serious social issues.
“CatZero is a place where young people and adults can find support and direction, they often come from the more disadvantaged backgrounds and poorer areas of our city and surrounds. Many who come do not have other positive role models around them. CatZero can in some cases be a lifeline particularly for those who have experienced very challenging and difficult childhoods.
“The charity is unique in its offer and capability, operated by a fantastic team of people. The type of people the charity helps is wide, from disengaged or excluded young people, to adults facing social difficulties or to military veterans struggling along ‘civvy street’ literally. The door at CatZero is always open.
“To operate CatZero the charity needs vital funds and its work is going to be even more important as society deals with the social issues caused by the pandemic. We commend Danny in his challenge, and we wish him good luck in raising as much money as possible. Every pound is a real investment in someone’s life. Please help if you can.”
Thank you Andrew!
