CatZero CRF participants join chef Simon Boyle at the charity Beyond Food Foundation, at Brigade Bar and Kitchen, where they practised the menu for a special pop-up restaurant in Grimsby, on June 9.
A copy of the 750-year-old Fishmongers’ Company royal charter has been passed to the crew, which will sail back up the coast to Grimsby where it will be hung in the town’s Fishing Heritage Centre.
CatZero Operations and Partnerships Manager Pete Tighe said: “We’ve all had a fantastic day working together, all of us learning new skills and having a great time too!
“It’s wonderful to watch these young people grow as their journeys with CatZero and Beyond Food Foundation continue.
“We are proud to be sailing the royal charter of the Fishmongers’ Company back to Great Grimsby, where it will proudly hang in the museum.”
