Our approach is simple engaging and deeply human. We know that the most meaningful journeys start with a willingness to try something outside your usual routine and an openness to what might come next. That is why our 2026 sailing schedule is built around inclusivity growth and shared experiences.
A welcoming space for everyone
You do not need prior sailing experience to get involved. Our certified crew and volunteer team are experts at teaching from first principles. They will guide you through every step from learning basic sail handling and safety to discovering the rhythms of life at sea.
Every day on deck becomes a chance to learn something new and take pride in your own progress. Participants often tell us that the biggest challenge is simply taking the first step onto the yacht.
Growth through challenge
Sailing is both physical and mental. It invites you to work with others navigate changing conditions and embrace problem-solving in real time. These challenges build confidence resilience and self-belief. Many of our participants go on to use these skills back on land in their careers studies and relationships.
Our 2026 programme includes short introductory sails and longer voyages across the Humber and beyond. Each itinerary is designed to be progressive allowing you to build capability at a pace that suits you.
Community and connection
One of the most powerful parts of sailing with CatZero is the community you become part of. There is something uniquely unifying about working together under sail. You share tasks celebrate successes and support each other when things get tough.
