CatZero is seeking an ambitious and driven individual to join the organisation as its new Head of Business Development & Innovation, a newly created senior leadership role that will help shape the charity’s next phase of growth.
The appointment comes at an important time for both CatZero and the Humber region. Demand for the charity’s programmes continues to grow, particularly as increasing numbers of young people face barriers to education, employment and training, and more families seek support to overcome complex challenges and build brighter futures.
For almost two decades, CatZero has supported thousands of people across the Humber region to develop confidence, resilience and the skills needed to achieve their goals. Through a unique combination of personal development, family support and sailing experiences, the charity has built a strong reputation for delivering lasting personal change.
As CatZero looks to the future, one of its key strategic priorities is to develop and maintain diverse funding relationships that enable sustainable growth and long-term resilience. The new Head of Business Development & Innovation will play a central role in delivering that ambition.
Working closely with the Chief Executive and senior leadership team, the successful candidate will lead the development of new partnerships, funding opportunities and innovative initiatives that strengthen CatZero’s sustainability and expand its reach. The role will focus on diversifying income streams, securing strategic partnerships and identifying opportunities that enable the charity to support even more people across the Humber region.
Innovation will be a key element of the role, helping CatZero explore new ways of fundraising, developing programmes, engaging supporters and building partnerships that maximise impact.
Chief Executive Adrian Tallon said:
“We know the need for CatZero’s work has never been greater. The growing number of young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) continues to make headlines nationally, and the Humber region faces some of the most significant challenges in the country. Alongside this, demand for our family support programmes continues to grow as families face increasing pressures and complexity in their lives.
We believe CatZero has a vital role to play in responding to these challenges. This new role represents an important investment in our future and our ability to reach more people, build stronger partnerships and create even greater impact across the Humber region. We are looking for someone who shares our ambition to help more people realise their potential and achieve lasting positive change.”
The role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced business development, fundraising or partnership professional to join an ambitious organisation at a pivotal stage in its development.
